Episode 11: New season

Spring is back with us. After a tough winter and tricky first months to the year, spring is here with new energies and promising sprouts for what is to come.

People liked the Wingle chat; that’s a fact. This USP allowed us to generate all our users, attract hundreds of organic media impressions and conversions and position us in the market.

But…the chat is not enough. Over these past months we realized we had one ⚠️ major problem. ⚠️ People were using Wingle for the flight itself; chatting with their friends or meeting new people. But they were not using any of the additional services that we had on the app and therefore, not converting into paying users. Engagement was short and usage was limited.

That’s why we’ve been hard at work the past months to “retrofit” Wingle with the goal of making it your “go-to app” for anything related to air travel. 🧳 What you can expect now:

• Before your flight: treat yourself to a more comfortable experience at the airport. Avoid queues with fast-track security access and skip the crowds and overpriced airport food with VIP lounge access

• During your flight: Keep using our original offline chat function

• After your flight: Find somewhere to store your luggage in the city, avoid the hassle of laundry once you get back howe with our “land & laundry” product and if your flight was delayed, manage all compensations through us

And all of this, without leaving money on the table. Forget costly monthly subscriptions. Wingle does it in a credits-based, “pay as you go” model. Top up your credits and use them when you feel like it; they don’t expire.

The goal? Extend interaction with our users, increase conversions and live up to our promise of making flying more social and premium.

With Easter break and summer travels just around the corner; we’ll be testing out how all of this works.
